I fully believe that the underlying intention for doing the things we do is where the magic is, so I want to share mine with you.
After losing my father abruptly at a young age, I grew up always wanting to know him better. Especially as I've navigated milestones in my life, from job changes to marriage, I've often wondered what advice he would offer me. I knew I wanted to leave my sons with a tangible memory bank when I became a father. I didn't want them to have to mine through social media or the fatigued memory banks of their extended family to imagine who I was or how I viewed life. Instead, I wanted to leave them a tangible legacy that evolved in real-time with life.
With that intention in mind, I started writing my sons' emails every time I was on a plane, which as a tech globetrotter, was quite often. It felt so comforting to document my favorite memories of them or my thoughts of the day. In 2020, it became abundantly clear that I wanted to create a secure space to share memories, thoughts, and reflections about life easily. Memhold is here as that digital vault to securely house the most precious moments of your life so that they can live forever.
Thank you for being here.
